I have loved and had a fascination with trains, whether model or real, as long as I can remember. I guess it comes from me growing up on a farm and being around all the big equipment. It seems like most adults usually "grow out" of the hobby. I haven't.

I really didn't start taking pictures of trains until I started taking pictures of areas I wanted to model later (no layout as of yet, just lots of engines & cars). I got my buddy, Ryan Koertge, back interested in trains around 2005 and have been taking pictures ever since. I mainly go for roster shots as references for the HO scale model trains.
